My vote goes to the air cooled Porsches. They sound like tractors at idle. But when they are booking it, they sound FANTASTIC

It's the side exhausts that do it in, really. You can only really hear one cylinder bank going at a time so it just sounds like an angry 5-cyl.

Nah, about 600 HP shy for that. Also, engine is oriented the wrong way, gotta flip it upside-down. =þ

I do love how this car sounds, though. It's so brackish and raw.
